For the past couple of months, we have been hearing rumors surrounding the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Lite. The device has finally been made official, albeit in a pretty weird fashion. Xiaomi’s Azerbaijan Instagram handle has started taking the pre-orders for the Xiaomi 12 Lite, but the official website (so far) has no mention of the device. Nevertheless, the Instagram post gives us a working clue as to what the Xiaomi 12 Lite will look like and what its specifications and features will be. Let’s take a look.
Xiaomi 12 Lite specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 6.55-inch 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel with HDR10+ support. Coming to the cameras, the device will have a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which will likely be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Coming to the software, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. Lastly, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 4,300mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
